About Us

Hello and welcome!  My name is Samantha Gilbane, the owner and operator of The Burn Boutique.  I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and I'm a wife and mom to two beautiful kids.  Based in Kathleen, Georgia, The Burn Boutique was started in March of 2020, just prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.  I created garden markers for my kids to plant a garden with me while we were stuck at home, and decided to sell them online with the encouragement of my mother.   Many people seemed to have that same gardening inspiration and loved those original garden markers.  Thankfully my business has grown a lot since.   I have loved creating personalized gifts for my customers.  It feels so special to be a small part in such a personal moment.
